He was with me in my troubled youth

My youth, was about him.
Not that anyone cares
He was with me in solitude
He was with me in love
He and his music made my younger years
So much richer,
Richer than they would have been without
Not that I can even imagine without.
But I don’t want to say thank you yet.
It is maybe one of those tricks he is playing on us.
